Egosi OS › About

The company behind Ava.

We have been putting communications into buildings since 1999. This is the same job with a far better tool.

Why we exist

Technology started serving itself instead of people.

Every tool added another place to check, another login, another feed. We hold our whole lives in our heads because the software meant to help never actually knew us. Ava is the correction: one understanding that knows the person or the place, so the technology finally fits them rather than the other way around.

We have been putting communications into buildings since 1999. Ava Display is the first part of that idea you can buy, and it is on sale today.

Leadership

Built by someone who sees what others cannot.

Press feature on Joe Egosi

The press once called him the Internet Messiah.

Joe Egosi · Founder

Thirty years of seeing the limitation before anyone else, then building what should have existed.

At twenty-one, Joe ran one of the country's largest privately held internet providers: fifty data centers, the security, the routing, and the phone systems, run essentially alone. He built early voice over the internet and hosted phone, customer, and communication systems billed by usage years before the industry had a name for it. The press called him the Internet Messiah. It was the thinking behind today's technology, two decades early.

After reinventing communications, and after changing how a Fortune 5 company operates, he kept asking the same question: are we solving the problem, or just redefining what it should be? Ava is his answer. The values have not changed in thirty years: customer obsession, relentless efficiency, and leadership that takes responsibility for the outcome.

What we stand for

The values behind every decision.

Customer obsession

We start from the person and work backward to the technology, never the other way around. The measure is whether the day got easier.

Simplicity

No apps to learn, no dashboards to manage. The hard work is ours; what you get is something that simply works and keeps working.

Security and sovereignty

What you hold stays yours. Privacy is built into the shape of the platform rather than promised in a policy document.

Honesty

Ava would rather say she does not know than guess, and this company would rather tell you something is not ready than sell it to you. Trust takes months to build and one wrong answer to break.

Two invoices, on purpose

Who invoices you for what.

Egosi OS LLC builds and operates Ava, and invoices the annual license and the optional on-site Edge. The adapter is supplied and invoiced separately by the hardware supplier. The split is deliberate: it is what lets you own the hardware outright instead of leasing it back from a software vendor, and it means the platform is not tied to any one piece of hardware.
