Every screen in the building, one system.

A top magnet STEM middle school had a casting tool that did one thing. They wanted one platform, with their own team in control.

Zero

Inbound ports opened, and no third party holding the building's data.

3

Systems replaced by one: casting, signage and emergency broadcast.

In daily use, with the fleet managed by us.

The situation

A casting tool is not a platform.

Their incumbent was a solid screen-casting product, but a generic one sold to every school the same way. It cast a screen and stopped there. Signage and emergency broadcast were separate systems, or did not exist at all. The school wanted one platform built around how they actually run the building, with their own team in control.

Casting

Smarter casting, not merely equal.

Everything the old tool did, with the intelligence built in, and nothing a student can hijack.

The room knows the teacher

A teacher opens Ava and taps Cast. Ava knows which room from their schedule. No room codes, no pairing, no setup.

Students present, teacher gated

The teacher issues a one-time code and a student can share to the screen. No student account, nothing about the student stored, and nobody casts without the teacher.

Any device, including a phone camera

With that code a student can share from a Chromebook, a phone or a tablet, including a live camera to show work up close.

Signage and safety

Every screen does something useful, all day.

When a screen is not being cast to, it is neither blank nor running a static slideshow somebody has to remember to update.

Signage that thinks

Every hallway shows what matters there. The school controls the input, or lets Ava choose what is relevant per place, per time of day and per audience.

Broadcast from anywhere

The principal sends a broadcast from a phone, on site or across town. It takes over every display, and the text is spoken aloud as well as shown.

One clear priority

An emergency outranks everything on every screen at once. Nothing else can take precedence, and it still works when the network is degraded.

Privacy by architecture

There is no student record here to lose.

Ava Display holds no student information. Students do not sign in, cannot send anything through it, and are never asked for anything by it. What the product does hold stays under the school's own authority. That is a fact about the shape of the product rather than a commitment in a policy document, which is why the answer to a records question here is short.
